Dr. Jart Body Lotion Review

So it’s that time of the year when the temperature drops and your legs, arms, and hands get hella ashy.

My go-to hand cream is Kamil (that stuff is BOSS), but when it comes to a full body cream, I still didn’t have a favorite, until today.

On my way to Korean class, I stopped by Olive Young and purchased Dr. Jart’s expensive AF Ceramidin Body Lotion.

I’m gonna be honest with you. I’m not going to share some fluffy bull**** story on why I decided to buy this product, knowing how expensive it is.

I bought this product for four reasons.
1. I love the color yellow. Yellow is such a happy color, and I love being happy so….
2. The brand. If you live in Korea or if you’re familiar with Korean beauty products, you know the name Dr. Jarts. The brand is well-known for its facemasks, especially the Rubber Silicon Facemask (in the States).
3. There was only ONE left! You know this stuff is no joke when people are willing to pay well over the average price for a cream that isn’t made from truffles or gold flakes.
4. I was curious.

That being said, I decided to purchase this cream and see if it was worth 24,000원. It may not seem that expensive, but beauty creams are cheap here.

First, let me tell you about the product. I’m sure many of you are familiar with Dr. Jarts Ceramidin cream, but, they recently came out with a new and improved formula!

Their new formula is more comfortable on the skin while being sturdy enough to last in cold weather. It’s also great for those with sensitive skin! It has a low-irritating serum using raw materials to match green grades, and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky! But no one can explain it better than the brand itself. If you want to learn more about this fantastic product, click the ‘learn more’ button below! The site breaks down everything you need to know about the product in full detail using fancy-ass photos and charts.

What I purchased: Ceramidin Body Lotion: Lightweight Body Moisturizer.

Unfortunately, the new formula is not available yet! However, most international online beauty stores sell Dr. Jart and its previous formula. If you’re too impatient and want to test out their previous line of moisturizer, click the see more button below.

The package also comes with a mini body wash. The body wash is meant to be a “gift for synergy” meaning (for those who don’t know) for the best results, you should use both together. Also, the pump has a locking mechanism; great for when you’re traveling!

The directions say to use it after you shower, but I decided to test the product at work because I’m ungodly impatient. I tried some on, and oh my Buddha, this stuff made my skin feel like a f***ing flower petal! And we all know flower petals are soft.as.fuck! I honestly can’t remember the last time my skin felt that smooth.

What I also liked about this product was the scent. It has a light, fresh lemon scent, but it’s not overpowering, and it doesn’t smell cheap. If you’ve read my face mask reviews, you know that I love a good smelling product; however, when I’m applying something all over my body, I tend to stay away from anything that smells too floral or sweet.

To get the “best results” per the instructions, I used the body wash while showering. In my opinion, you don’t need to use the body wash before applying the lotion. The body lotion alone is enough to make your skin feel like a virgin.

What impressed me the most was how soft my skin felt ten hours later. Most moisturizers I’ve used in the past last a few hours, leave my skin sticky, and smell like crap, but this stuff is no joke! It’s definitely on the expensive side, but it’s worth the money.

Happy moisturizing!

Until next time 🙂
